That is why all our dischar­ge tech­no­lo­gies are based on the latest and safest high-vol­ta­ge dischar­ge tech­no­lo­gy for Li-ion bat­tery sto­rage sys­tems and modu­les. The dischar­ge capa­ci­ty of the sys­tem is free­ly defi­nable and can return power from the bat­te­ries to the local grid with high effi­ci­en­cy. On the one hand, this means a direct reduc­tion in con­sump­ti­on, e.g. for your pro­duc­tion and pro­ces­ses, and on the other hand, the com­ple­te­ly dischar­ged bat­te­ries redu­ce the poten­ti­al risk for your employees and the sub­se­quent recy­cling pro­cess.

All RET dischar­ge ver­si­ons are based on the latest and safest high-vol­ta­ge dischar­ge tech­no­lo­gy for Li-ion bat­tery sto­rage sys­tems and modu­les. The dischar­ge power of the sys­tem is free­ly defi­nable via the num­ber of chan­nels instal­led and their power at dif­fe­rent vol­ta­ge levels. In instal­la­ti­ons with many chan­nels, each indi­vi­du­al chan­nel can be ope­ra­ted com­ple­te­ly inde­pendent­ly of all others. Thanks to the fun­da­men­tal­ly bidi­rec­tion­al design, our dischar­ge vari­ants can con­vert power with high effi­ci­en­cy from the bat­te­ries to the local grid and vice ver­sa.

The intel­li­gent sen­sor tech­no­lo­gy ensu­res pre­cise moni­to­ring and con­trol of the dischar­ging pro­cess, which opti­mi­zes safe­ty and effi­ci­en­cy. The modu­lar adap­ta­bi­li­ty allows fle­xi­ble appli­ca­ti­on to dif­fe­rent bat­tery sizes and types, thus ensu­ring a wide ran­ge of appli­ca­ti­ons.

We equip all unloa­ding units with digi­tal con­trols to make your work easier. The touch­screen-based con­trol sys­tem enables all dischar­ge para­me­ters to be cle­ar­ly adjus­ted and con­trol­led. The ope­ra­tor can crea­te para­me­tric recipes for dischar­ging and dia­gno­sing dif­fe­rent bat­tery sys­tems and save the recor­ded log data. The dischar­ging sys­tems are desi­gned for seam­less inte­gra­ti­on into the inco­ming inspec­tion and dis­mant­ling of bat­tery sys­tems.

In addi­ti­on, our auto­ma­ted dia­gno­stic tools pro­vi­de instant bat­tery con­di­ti­on assess­ment, incre­asing the effi­ci­en­cy of down­stream pro­ces­sing. This smal­lest ver­si­on of our dischar­ging tech­no­lo­gy com­bi­nes high per­for­mance with impres­si­ve fle­xi­bi­li­ty and enables effort­less use at dif­fe­rent loca­ti­ons thanks to its prac­ti­cal, rollable design - wit­hout requi­ring a lot of per­son­nel.

From com­pact 19 inches to impres­si­ve 20 feet - we desi­gned our con­tai­ner unloa­ding sys­tem spe­ci­fi­cal­ly for lar­ger requi­re­ments. Each 20-foot con­tai­ner is ful­ly equip­ped with our advan­ced dischar­ge tech­no­lo­gy, pre-wired and rea­dy for imme­dia­te use. The sys­tems are opti­mal­ly desi­gned for con­nec­tion to various bat­tery types and low-vol­ta­ge infra­struc­tu­re and offer a plug-and-play solu­ti­on for a varie­ty of appli­ca­ti­on sce­na­ri­os. The con­tai­ners can be set up insi­de and out­side buil­dings, have inde­pen­dent air con­di­tio­ning and are pro­tec­ted against the ingress of dust and water.

The unloa­ding pro­cess is con­trol­led via high-qua­li­ty, indus­tri­al-gra­de touch PCs, which enable intui­ti­ve and effi­ci­ent remo­te con­trol. This fea­ture does not only increase user-fri­end­li­ne­ss, but does also opti­mi­ze safe­ty, as the ope­ra­ting per­son­nel do not need to be phy­si­cal­ly pre­sent in the con­tai­ner for moni­to­ring and con­trol. Bat­tery dischar­ging in prac­ti­ce

A Ger­man spe­cia­list recy­cler has been using various mobi­le dischar­ging machi­nes from Reckel­berg Envi­ron­men­tal Tech­no­lo­gies for some time to safe­ly dischar­ge end-of-life bat­tery sys­tems. In the cour­se of the mar­ket ramp-up of BEVs, a recy­cling plant for lithi­um-ion bat­te­ries with a capa­ci­ty of over 20,000 tons per year will be put into ope­ra­ti­on at the site. In order to dischar­ge a suf­fi­ci­ent quan­ti­ty of bat­te­ries for this, the cus­to­mer has deci­ded to install an addi­tio­nal sta­tio­na­ry RET dischar­ge sys­tem with a much lar­ger capa­ci­ty.
